I have tried about 4 or 5 times to render the next episode. It doesn't even work USING THE EXACT SAME METHOD I used for the episode I JUST POSTED yesterday. No fucking idea why. I didn't change ANYTHING at all with my computer, the rendering process, nothing.

Yet here we are, unable to render this next episode.

Fuck my computer.

Since my computer was having issues with rendering (for no apparent reason to me), the Sunday update has been moved to Monday (it is almost done rendering so hopefully I can upload that in the morning).

Typically, I do not update on Tuesdays so the second video that was supposed to be uploaded on Monday will now be on Tuesday.

Sorry for the delays. Don't worry, I am the most upset of everyone.

I managed to somehow get Thief 2 to work on my laptop so I will use the same methods I use to record Skyrim or Xbox games to record Thief. This is a little more of a hassle for me but that's fine. I just want to finish this game up.

I plan to record tonight and since I did two Cthulhu episodes last week, I may do two Thief episodes this week to make up for it. Next week we will return to the normal update schedule.

Sorry I didn't have it up this morning. Basically, my computer decided to do updates in the middle of rendering last night and I had to render all day today. I just started the uploads to Blip and Youtube so in a couple of hours, the next Minecraft episode will be up.

However, it makes things a bit easier for videos.

On featured videos (the ones up top that you can watch from) now have "View Comments" instead of just comments. This is linked to the video's page so you can make a comment easily on the newest videos. We are thinking of a way to make it more obvious that this is a link but for now, I will just make this news post to let you guys know!

In other news, a Call of Cthulhu (I am getting really good at spelling "Cthulhu" on my first try now) video will be up in a little bit. Still rendering it and will upload it soon.

So I had everything going pretty well and was hoping to have the video uploaded for you guys right now.

My computer / Adobe's encoder has other plans, unfortunately. Right at THE VERY FUCKING END of encoding for 5+ hours, it froze with only minutes to go. This means I will have to start the render ALL OVER again and HOPEFULLY it will be done by the end of the day.

Hey guys guess what!!!?!???

I updated some codecs to get Adobe's shit to work right and in the process it seems I broke Thief 2.

DDFIX / tafferpatcher doesn't do jack shit and I've tried re-installing without any luck.


So yeah unless anyone else has some suggestions, Thief 2 will be on hiatus until I can get it running again (it won't even launch now since it crashes at the start-up video). This really sucks because I actually did want to play it tonight and I have been looking forward to finishing it up. For tomorrows update, I will have something to take its place.
